Horn Spice Bowl with Spoon

This hand-carved horn spice bowl is made from the horns of the Ankole-Watusi — a breed of cattle native to western Uganda and East Africa. The horns are a recycled byproduct of the food industry, purchased directly from cattle-keeping communities, providing meaningful revenue at the source. Each bowl is then hand carved and polished by a small-scale artisan community according to Maadili designs — no two are exactly alike.

Use it for sea salt, spices, or small condiments. Or simply set it on a shelf and let it be beautiful.
