The Reloj Vase by Al Centro Ceramica is inspired by the hourglass — a form that holds both beauty and meaning. Wheel-thrown from a mixture of local clays, each vase is glazed only on the inside, leaving the exterior raw and exposed to the kiln’s heat. The result is a surface of deep, shifting earth tones — warm ochres, cool grays, rich terracottas — that emerge naturally from the firing process. No two pieces are identical. Even within the same batch, the fire decides the final color.

This is ceramics as it was meant to be: honest, elemental, and alive.
