Adam and Eve Home is a home decor and furnishings shop, and the data controller for personal data collected through adamandevehome.com. We decide why and how your data is processed. You can reach us at hello@adamandevehome.com.

• Identity and contact data (name, email) — to create your account, answer enquiries, and send order updates. Legal basis: performance of a contract.
• Account credentials — to sign you in securely. Legal basis: contract and our legitimate interest in account security.
• Order and delivery details (pieces chosen, sizes, shipping address) — to make and deliver your order. Legal basis: contract.
• Payment details — handled by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number. Legal basis: contract.
• Messages to us, including anything you send through the contact page or our assistant — to answer you. Legal basis: legitimate interest in customer care.
• Usage, device data and IP address — for security, fraud prevention, and improving the shop. Legal basis: legitimate interest.
• Marketing preferences — to send you news of new pieces where you have asked for it. Legal basis: consent, withdrawable at any time.

• Stripe, our payment processor, for payment authorization, refunds, invoicing and tax compliance.
• Our making and fulfilment partners, who receive the name and shipping address needed to produce and deliver your order, and nothing more.
• Service providers such as hosting, database, email and analytics providers, acting on our instructions.
• Professional advisers (legal, accounting) and authorities where required by law.

We do not sell personal data.

We publish our own pieces to our own Adam and Eve Home accounts on Facebook, Instagram and Pinterest. That publishing reads only our own profile, our own boards and our own posts. We do not collect, store or process any other person’s social account data, pins, boards or followers.

We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected, or as long as tax, accounting and legal obligations require. After that it is deleted or anonymised. Enquiries that do not become orders are removed within 24 months.

Subject to the law that applies to you, you may request access to your data, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or object to processing based on legitimate interests, and you may withdraw consent at any time. Where GDPR or UK GDPR applies you also have the right to complain to your supervisory authority, and we will respond to requests within one month. Our providers may process data outside your country, including in the United States. Where data leaves the UK or EEA we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision.

We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures, including encryption in transit, row-level access controls on our database, and role-based administrative access.

We use essential cookies and local storage to keep you signed in and to secure the session. Any analytics or marketing cookies are only set with your consent, and you can clear or block cookies in your browser at any time.
